Meet Sheba

Sheba is a resilient standard jennet with a incredible story. Born feral on public lands, she was gathered by the BLM and narrowly saved from a slaughter auction in 2009. After being rehabilitated at Longhopes and adopted, she surprised her adopters three months later by giving birth to a foal named Lucy.

Having overcome many hardships and losses over the years, Sheba has returned to Longhopes 18 years later to live out a peaceful retirement. The senior jennets have warmly welcomed her into their clique, where she now enjoys a safe, loving environment surrounded by good friends.
