Meet Gillie

Gillie is a wonderfully roly-poly, pitch-black standard donkey who remains perpetually young and unapologetically mischievous. He has two main passions in life: showing off and courting the ladies. If there is even a hint of playful trouble brewing in the pasture, you can guarantee Gillie is right in the center of it, and if there are jennets nearby, he will be at the very front of the line.

Gillie treats Longhopes as his personal stage and social club, thoroughly enjoying the abundance of attention and companionship. He is always eager to entertain staff and visitors with a few clever tricks he has practiced for years, and he keeps his eyes open for new ones to learn. Between his active social calendar with "too many" buddies and his comedic antics, he is living his absolute best life.
