Meet Willie

Willie is a handsome, stocky, medium-sized dark grey standard donkey who is full of youthful energy and still figuring out his ultimate purpose in life. He has spent much of his youth as the dedicated, loyal companion to his older buddy, Buzz, and the two share an incredibly tight bond. Even as he stays close to his friend, Willie’s vibrant personality is always shining through.

Willie is thoroughly enjoying his time at Longhopes, treating the sanctuary as an exciting place to make his mark on the world. He has a massive amount of confidence, firmly believing he can accomplish absolutely anything he sets his mind to. He loves greeting everyone he meets at the fence, proudly vocalizing and letting every volunteer know exactly how talented and handsome he is.
