This is a lucky mother and daughter pair of standard donkeys that would have gone to a slaughterhouse without Longhopes.

Savvy is an age 5 brown (paint ) jennet and Roma is her 1 year old brown (paint) jennet foal.  These are a gorgeous pair of healthy, gentle jennets.  Savvy is a 46.5 inch tall jennet who just arrived at Longhopes.  Roma is currently 42 inches tall but will probably grown to her mother's height by the time she is 3 years old.  Both halter, lead and pick up their hooves well.

Savvy and Roma have both shown great aptitude for behavior (trick) training.  Savvy has also been under saddle. She was perfectly calm with a child rider on her.  Roma will probably be very suitable for riding too.

This mother and daughter bond can't be broken but who'd want to. They make a lovely, loving pair of donkeys that have great potential.
