Nettie age 9

Nettie is a  45 inch tall, lean 9  year old black jennet.  She may be Zach's mother.  Both came from the Pikes Peak Humane Society after being confiscated by a severely neglectful owner.

However, Nettie proves how resilient donkeys are.

She has gained weight, is walking better and is regrowing a shiny black coat.

Amazing what a regular diet and some remedial hoof care can do.  Nettie is an easy keeper and is ready for a  new home where she can be somebody's favorite pet.
