Congratulations to our Latest Adoptees
Its a happy beginning  (not ending) for all of them.
Pedro escaped from neglect and starvation and landed on all four hooves at a great new home with 4 horses.  That is just perfect for Pedro because he likes horses more than donkeys and he promises to be the new best friend to Thunder-a young, playful gelding Thoroughbred who needed a friend.

Ally and her daughter Poppi have never been separated and will never have to be at their new home in Niwot, Colorado thanks to Charolotte and Hector who built a donkey heaven for them.
Little Boyd-age 9 was too timid to play with the big donkeys at Longhopes.  But he and his little burro buddy-Cameron age 9 months are perfect for each other at their new home in Platteville, Colorado.  They have a corral full of toys and they play with them all each day in their new adoptive home with Shirley and Gayle.
Big Mammoth Charlotte needed a new companion when her gelding donkey died.  She was certain she wanted another male donkey and she is thrilled that Spirit from Longhopes was selected by her owners.  Spirit is now the boy toy of Charlotte.   She protects him and doesn't want him out of her sight.  Spirit thinks that kind of attention is pretty special at his new home.

Babs is a big hit with this gelding horse who needed a friend.

Claire and Trixie met at Longhopes and became friends.  They were then lucky enough to be adopted together to a great new home in Denver where they are the "big sisters" to two miniature horses and will be spending lots of time hiking and packing.

Little Maddock's huge personality and huge ego was just the right size for a big lonely mare who needed a companion.  The mare is thrilled with her new buddy and Maddock loves having this big gal to look after at his new home.  The two are inseparable and cannot be out of each other's sight.
