Orchid age 14 Large Standard Jennet

Orchid is a healthy light grey jennet.  She stands 49" tall and weighs about  525lbs.

Orchid arrived at Longhopes with Amber who we believe is her daughter.  We thought Orchid might be pregnant, but the vet confirmed that she is not.

Orchid halters and leads well.  She loads in a trailer and has had her hooves trimmed. 

Orchid has begun riding lessons and flexes very well.  She would be very safe for a child to ride. But she has greater potential for driving.

This donkey loves attention and is very friendly.  She is very bonded to Amber and Amber's daughter Allegra.
