Cricket

Cricket is new to Longhopes.  She was part of a large group of weanling/yearling donkeys we rescued off a slaughter truck in June.  What a waste it would have been because Cricket is a sweet young thing.

Now that she is at a place where there is plenty of nutritious food, this little weanling jennet is growing like a weed.

Cricket is currently 41 inches tall and weighs 261 pounds.  She will likely be 45-47 inches at full size.

Cricket has several friends at Longhopes.  Michelle, Sahara and Fergie are her best burro buddies.

This young brown jennet is getting friendlier every day.
