Boyd age 11 small standard gelding

Boyd is a shy little black donkey with no tail.  He is 44" tall and weighs 438lbs.

Boyd came to the shelter in December of 2010 and was adopted with his buddy Cameron in April 2011.  His adopters developed health issues and could no longer keep Boyd and Cameron so they were returned to Longhopes.

Boyd is the type of donkey that likes a calm environment where he can bond with his human partner and settle into a routine.   Boyd loves women but can be very responsive to the right male handler.   He is up to date on his vaccinations, deworming, dental care and hoof trims.

Boyd would make a great companion to a very lonely donkey.  He needs a budy who doesn't pull his hair out-like Cameron did.

Boyd would also do well with a lonely jennet.
